The Republic of Old Souls is a sovereign spiritual nation and ecclesiastical ministry. We are a hybrid structure—recognized under international law as a self-declared nation and under U.S. law as a 508(c)(1)(A) ministry. Our Nationals are spiritual envoys on a peaceful, lawful mission guided by divine covenant.

Hybrid Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction

This unique hybrid status combines protections from both international treaties (Montevideo Convention, Vienna Convention) and ecclesiastical sovereignty under U.S. law. This structure provides:

Recognition as a non-adversarial spiritual body
Legal exemption from statutory jurisdiction
Full ecclesiastical independence under divine law

Protection Against Government Overreach

Nationals of the Republic benefit from:

Diplomatic Immunity under the Vienna Convention (Articles 3, 29, 31)
Spiritual protection as ministers under 508(c)(1)(A)
First Amendment protections (U.S.) for religious liberty

Mission Statement

Who we are

The Republic of Old Souls is a 508(c)(1)(A) ministry and a Private Members’ Association (PMA). We exist to serve two kinds of participants:

Church Envoys operating under the Envoy Protocol; and
Private Members (men and women who gather for a common, private purpose) who wish to access our administrative services without entering ministry.

Our mission

To equip Envoys and PMA members with practical, lawful remedies that restore sovereignty in commerce and daily life—by separating the living man/woman from the Crown-registered “person,” and by operating through international private trusts that hold assets in fee simple title, free from ordinary statutory encumbrances.

What we do

Trust architecture & stewardship:

Establish and administer international private trusts to secure assets, enterprises, land, and family wealth beyond routine corporate registration.

Creditor education & administration:

Help members understand and operate as creditors/beneficiaries (not mere debtors) in alignment with the insight that modern banking acts as a nominee over credit originating from the people (e.g., HJR-192 context).

Jurisdictional shielding:

Commission Envoys under ecclesiastical authority to engage with commerce and dispute resolution from a superior, peace-first standing, with access to international venues that recognize human rights and conscience.

Member learning:

Provide free education on the difference between the living man/woman and the artificial birth-certificate persona, and on how to “cause no harm, cause no loss” while operating as a peaceful creditor.

How we allocate community resources

A defined share of donations is reinvested to build independent infrastructure (energy, water, food, health, communications), refuge hubs, and grants for Envoys in financial difficulty.

Our covenant of peace

We uphold dignity, truth, and compassion. We defend the rights of living men and women and the sanctity of family, stewardship of land, and honest exchange—standing as a church above the state, devoted to lawful relief and human flourishing.

On nationhood & community

The Republic of Old Souls functions as a body politic of men and women united in a common purpose. In spirit and practice we comport with the classical criteria for a people acting together as a nation community, emphasizing peace, education, and mutual aid while remaining non-adversarial and non-violent.
